When I look at our school today, I see something far beyond
bricks and classrooms. I see a promise — a promise made by the
Trust to the families of Kunjathur, that their children would
have a place to learn that is safe, dignified, and rooted in
values.
The Shree Mahalingeshwara Temple Education Trust
was established with the belief that education should not be a
privilege of the few, but a right shared by all. Every policy we
frame, every rupee we spend, and every hour our teachers give is
guided by this single conviction.
Our affiliation with NIOS, New Delhi, and our
continued commitment to the NCERT-guided curriculum allow us to
offer a modern, quality education. But we have never let the
syllabus overshadow something more important — the formation of
sound character. From daily meditation to
physical activity, from music and the arts to service and
farming, our children learn not only how to succeed, but how
to live with purpose.
One of the decisions I am most proud of is that no child is
ever turned away for want of money. Our midday meal is served
to everyone on campus — students, staff, and guests. Fees are
kept minimal and waived where needed. In doing so, we hope
every child carries forward the belief that
prosperity is meaningful only when it serves others.
To our teachers, I extend my deepest gratitude. You are the
heart of this institution, and the trust we place in you is
the trust of a parent. To our parents and supporters, I thank
you for walking with us. And to our students — you are the
reason we exist. Every day you remind us why this work matters.
As we look ahead, the Trust remains committed to growing this
school thoughtfully and steadily — always keeping the child
at the centre, always honouring the values on which we were
founded. This is our promise, and we renew it today.
